I couldn’t ask for a more perfect day to be hiking yesterday in Sedona. The sun was out (okay it’s usually out), the temperature was in the low 70’s, and the trails were mostly empty.
One of the true benefits of living in Arizona, is you never run out of beautiful places to be.
Sedona isn’t always one of my favorite places to go. There is no doubt that it is absolutely one of the most beautiful places on the planet. However, it doesn’t take long to be frustrated trying to drive through town – or worse, just driving into town. But I looked to hit some trails away from the normal “tourist” areas.

I know, it’s pretty selfish to want the place to just myself (and friends). But when you kind of do…it doesn’t get more pleasant.
