Grand Canyon National Park’s Centennial

2019 marks the Grand Canyon’s 100th year as a National Park. Living a few hours away from the South Rim made it easy for me to “drop in” and celebrate (and still be able to do it again)! If you need a excuse to go, then feel free to use the Park’s Centennial as the reason!

I have to confess, I’d never really ventured East from the main entrance – and I should have done it sooner.

It was already pretty crowded for the season, so early is the best option (and you get more time to be there!)

It’s not very original to blog about the Grand Canyon. I’ve done it multiple times myself. but to that I say, “Too Bad!”

My biggest problem, though, is I’m frequently wearing my favorite sweatshirt when hiking around in the cooler temps, so it almost looks like the same trip!

If you haven’t gone, you should! If you’ve been, you should…Again!
